We had the pleasure of one of our final projects for 2020, being a customised scaffolding shrink wrap for one of our local NHS hospitals in our home county, Kent.
Here we have an example of a shrink wrapped scaffold-one of our largest shrink wrapped projects to date. Our client requested we build a scaffold access route to allow hospital staff and patients to access a temporary unit from the main hospital. We had an extremely tight deadline to work towards, and with a great team effort completed this project on time.
As we are all aware the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 has meant the NHS have had to rapidly respond to the increase in demand on their services. Temporary buildings and access routes are just some of the solutions, to the continuous updates to their logistics. It was a real pleasure to work alongside other trades and to complete such a fantastic project.
There were many different parts of the access route that needed to have different dimensions. Our experienced scaffolders constructed this and made sure that the scaffolding was suitable for the shrink wrap to be installed, creating a neat, tidy and safe walkway area.
Our team really enjoyed the demands and challenges of this project and we we look forward to completing more shrink wrap projects in the future.
